Matthew Croston

Head of Programme Management

Matthew Croston is Head of Programme Management and leads the Strategic Hub Programme Management Team. He works with partners to develop and implement effective systems and processes to deliver the programme management functions for Smart Data Research UK.  

Over the past decade, Matthew has expanded his knowledge of programme and project management. He has completed PRINCE 2 and led and supported the management of projects and programmes ranging from small-scale to major multimillion pound investments.   
  
Before joining the Economic and Social Research Council, Matthew Croston gained experience working in other non-departmental public bodies and local government.
