Better use of data is key to more effective government. Across government, teams are doing fascinating work with data. But those projects don’t get the attention they deserve. The Institute for Government’s Data Bites event series is aiming to change that.
Join Smart Data Research UK for a special smart data edition of Data Bites, showcasing ground-breaking work in the crucial area of safe access to ‘smart data’ for research. Speakers will share their insights, innovative solutions for current challenges, successes and lessons learned for the future.
Each speaker has eight minutes to present, followed by eight minutes of questions from the audience.
Our speakers are:
- Joe Cuddeford, Director at Smart Data Research UK
- Frank Gauld, Chief Executive Officer at Smart Data Foundry
- Ben Goldacre, Director at the Bennett Institute for Applied Data Science
- Professor Gina Neff, Executive Director of the Minderoo Centre for Technology and Democracy
Chaired by Gavin Freeguard, Associate at the Institute for Government.
